Lars von Trier: Nocturne

Lars-von-TrierNocturne is the seventh short film that Danish director Lars von Trier made ​​in 1980 still as a student at the National Film School of Denmark.

The experiment performed by director as his graduation project shows an ultra-sensitive woman to light, which fears, and must always remain in darkness. Now she must take a flight to Buenos Aires from her city, Copenhagen, but she does not know whether she can do it.

The main character responds to the name of Yvette and telephone voice corresponds to Danish actress Solbjørg Højfeldt. Curiously, the voice of the protagonist does not correspond with the Yvette one but with the also Danish actress Anne-lise Gabold. Lars von Trier himself makes his cameo as the man who comes through the window.
